Emmy Awards 2019 Complete Nominees List

Emmy Awards were announced their nominations on Tuesday night for the 71st annual. Ken Jeong and D’Arcy Carden presented the nods from the Saban Media Center in Los Angeles. Then, the hosts was joined by Television Academy chairman and CEO Frank Scherma.

 

This year “Game of Thrones” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” dominated nods for TV’s top honors. The HBO’s epic fantasy drama season picked up a leading 32 nominations, but GOT isn’t the only top contender in the drama category. FX’s “Pose,” AMC-BBC America’s “Killing Eve,” HBO’s “Succession” and NBC’s “This Is Us” also picked up a handful of nominations.

 

On the music front, Netflix’s “Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé” nominated for three categories included Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Directing for a Variety Special, and Writing for a Variety Special.

 

Later, the Emmy Awards 2019 will air on Sunday (Sept. 22) live on Fox.
