Meek Mill, Snoop Dogg, and More Call for NBA to Change the Logo

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is sure to be debating numerous ways to tribute the life of basketball player Kobe Bryant in some capacity this season.

One major change some have in mind is changing the NBA’s classic logo from Jerry West to a silhouette of the Kobe Bryant.

A viral petition currently has hits almost 2 million signatures and has attracted the attention of many musicians. Meek Mill, Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz and more have shown their support for backing the movement.

Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others were killed in the fatal helicopter crash on Sunday morning local time (Jan. 26), as they were headed from the southern Los Angeles area to the northern Los Angeles suburbs.
